Tibetan Book of the Fried
The "text" below is a fragment of a copy of a copy of a fragment from the Tibetan Book of the Dead (or a copy thereof) that was once on display at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.
Enough liberties have been taken that this probably bears little resemblance to the original. In fact, the translation of what remains below may be a rude joke (at best).
But this sample does nicely illustrate the lovely hieroglyphic METAFONT font created by Serge Rosmorduc and available at ftp://ftp.tex.ac.uk/tex-archive/fonts/hieroglyph/. The images below were generated from that font using GF2GIFs.
